Playing roulette comes with a variety of bets. You can wager on one or more numbers (INSIDE BET) or on either black or red color, first or second or third dozen, first low or last high eighteen numbers, or even or odd number (OUTSIDE BET). If you are playing and betting at random, whichever bet you feel like wagering on, it is OK. But you can also follow some certain betting strategy for you to win. And one of these strategies that we will discuss is the FIBONACCI BETTING SYSTEM in roulette games.

If we would be looking way back 700 years before, the Fibonacci number sequence was a very famous set of numbers. In this sequence, the next number is calculated by the sum of the two previous numbers in the sequence. A basic example is the sequence 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, etc. The number starts from 1, and the first step is to add the starting number to itself, such as 1+1=2. 2 is the second number, and the next would be 3 (1+2), then 2+3=5, 3+5=8, 5+8=13, 8+13=21, and so on. Now, a test for you. Find the first five numbers if you will start with 5. Just kidding!

Applying it in roulette games, the Fibonacci betting system works a bit like Martingale Betting System, but a little slower. Instead of making your bet double every time you lose, the Fibonacci System requires you to raise the amount of your wager to the next number in the Fibonacci number sequence. You will start your bet with $1. If you lose, your next bet is $1. If again you lose, the next bet is $2 ($1+$1), then $3 ($1+$2), then $5 ($2+$3), and so on. You will only do this if you are losing. But how about if you win a spin?

In the Martingale System, once you win a round, you will start over from the beginning of your bet size. This is not the case in the Fibonacci Betting. In this system, if you win a spin in roulette, you have to “cross out” the last two number in the sequence. For example: if you start at $1, you follow the basic 1-1-2-3-5-8-13-etc. sequence, your current wager is now $5 (from $2+$3), and you win the spin, then you have to reduce your bet to $2, crossing out numbers 5 and 3. If you win on the $2 bet, you’ll be crossing out the numbers 2 and 1, thus you will start the sequence with $1 bet.

To make it simple, here is an example Fibonacci betting scenario, following the 1-1-2-3-5-8-13-etc. number sequence:

Start your bet with $1 – you lose

Bet $1 – you lose

Bet $2 – you lose

Bet $3 – you lose

Bet $5 – you lose

Bet $8 – you win (cross out 8 and 5)

Bet $3 – you lose

Bet $5 – you win (cross out 5 and 3)

Bet $2 – you win (cross out 2 and 1, start over with $1 bet)

Start betting again with $1

The idea of the Fibonacci Betting System in roulette is that if you win a spin, follow it with a smaller bet, while if you lose a spin, follow it with a bigger bet in an attempt to recover most of your losses in the previous spins. This system of changing bets most of the time will keep you in the game for a little longer than just normally playing at random bets. This will also improve your gambling experiences as you jump between higher and lower wager amounts.

Similar to other betting systems, the Fibonacci Betting System in roulette games will produce some positive results for a while, but it will not guarantee you that you will beat the game with consistency. You will run over losses that will force you to bet higher than the maximum amount that the table limit allows, which makes the betting system of no use. If you’re lucky enough to double your buy-in or more playing this system it’s in your best interest to cash out your profit and find some different action for awhile. There is no system that can protect you from the eventual losses you will experience on the roulette table.

Roulette games have two main versions: the American and the European Roulette. The difference between them is the double zero (00) number on the wheel, which is only present in the American version.

Roulette is one of the most popular games in the casinos, and it first gained popularity on the French Riviera in the late 18th century. The game provided fast action with lots of different odds bets. There is a rule that can increase the odds for you to win more money in playing the game. And this is the EN PRISON rule.

The en prison is a rule that is only applied in the European version of the roulette game. In this rule, the player is allowed to recover some of his losses when the ball lands in the green zero space on the rotating wheel. You can opt to recover half of your OUTSIDE or EVEN-ODDS BETS if the ball does hit zero.

However, the en prison does not apply to any other INSIDE BET in roulette, disregarding any odds that is offered by this kind of bet. It is because the outside bets has no way of winning for the players if the ball lands on the green zero, and only an inside bet that is placed on zero will be paid out if zero hits. Since the outside bets cannot win on the zero, the European roulette version offers this en prison rule in return.

While it is true that the European roulette is the only version that offers the en prison rule, it does not imply that every European version of roulette will be using the same rules for the en prison. There are some roulette games that returns half of the player’s wager when zero hits, and there are some that hold the players’ original bet until the next spin. If the en prison bet wins on the second time, all of the bet will be returned to the player, but if it loses, then the entire bet will be collected by the house.

If you are familiar with the LA PARTAGE RULE in single-zero European roulette games, you can find out that the en prison rule is a variant of this rule, which also implies that half of the bet will be returned to you if you are wagering on an outside bet and the ball hits zero. The only difference between them is the option to let your bet ride for another spin in order to decide what would be the fate of your entire wager, instead of just an automatic return of 50% of your bet.

Well, if you are an avid European roulette player in both brick-and-mortar and online casino websites and you find a game which are offering the la partage (or the en prison) rule, then go for it. The house edge that the outside bet carries is dramatically reduced by this rule, from 2.7% down to 1.35%.

We all know that in every casino game and online casino game that we play, there is always a house edge you will always face, that ensures the casino (or online casino) to gain profit from you. However, that casino advantage can be lowered most of the time, if you know how to refrain from doing things that will be in the casino’s favor.

Playing in the roulette table is a good example of how you can make the chances of your winning better. This can be done by knowing and applying some strategic parameters in playing both offline and online roulette games.

Instead of losing all of your hard-earned money in just only a couple of minutes and looking for action elsewhere, you can maximize your profit and get the most out of the time you spend playing on a roulette table by doing some careful planning. As we can see, roulette has a very wide variety of different wagers and bets to choose from. Take note that not all of them have similar house edge attached to them.

And what are the mistakes that we should avoid while we are in the heat of the roulette action?

Well, first thing first. Basically, you want to AVOID MAKING TOO MANY INSIDE BETS. That’s a good point for you! Although the huge payout betting on single numbers might give when you hit one is very attractive, you will need a bigger bankroll just to have any money left after you endure all the losses that you’ll encounter in between hits. Always remember: The longer the odds on the bets that you play, the longer it will take to become a winner. If you are an average player and you only have a limited bankroll, you cannot leisurely play the odds at 35:1 on the inside bets all night. What you should do is to wager most on the OUTSIDE BET are in the roulette table. The odds at this bet is near even, so you will have a better chance of winning even though the payout is considerably lower compared to the INSIDE BET.

Another thing that you, as a roulette player, have to know is to STAY AWAY FROM THE FIVE-SPOT BET. A five-spot bet is a wager on the 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3 spots on the roulette wheel. Well, obviously, this bet can only be made in an American Roulette, for European roulette games do not have the 00 spot on the wheel. And why would you like to avoid wagering on this bet? Well, simply because of the staggering house edge of 7.89%, which is almost twice the edge on other bets!

Are you a high-roller? Well if you are, but you only have a limited bankroll, then you have to AVOID PLAYING AT STAKES THAT ARE TOO BIG FOR YOUR BUY-IN. If you only have $100 to spend in playing on the roulette table, I think that you don’t want your chips to be worth any more than $1. That will put the minimum outside bet at 10% of your buy-in. You’ll need five times that much to play at a table with $5 chips.

So as to summarize, there are at least three mistakes that you should avoid when you are playing in both land-based and online roulette games. They are as follows:

Making too many inside bets

Wagering on the five-spot bet

Playing at stakes too big for your buy-in

In every casino game that we play, whether it is roulette or other table games, we have to know the advantages and disadvantages of any bets we make, and know how to play the game responsibly.

Due to the popularity of roulette, online casinos are developing tournaments for this game. But the concept of roulette tournaments is quite new to the online casino industry. And in line with this, let’s expect that the rules, guidelines, terminologies, and conditions will have many variations depending on what casino or casino software is hosting the online roulette tournaments. There are even cases that the past online roulette tournament is totally different from the currently running tournament in terms of structure.

Roulette tournaments are held periodically. There are casinos that offer hourly, daily, and/or weekly online roulette tournaments. The structure of online roulette tournaments is different from those offered in live casinos. And similar to most casino game tournaments, an entry fee (or BUY-IN) is required before you can join to the online roulette tournament.

After paying the appropriate buy-in prize, you will be given a set number and amount of chips to play with (the chips are NOT added to your real money account, they are just for the tournament) and then you will be ready to proceed to the roulette table and participate in the tournament. The primary goal of every player is to obtain the most chips at the end of the tourney. In some cases, when a player runs out of time, the casino will even permit him to do his last spin, thus adding to his final score.

The betting and payout system of the online roulette tournament is more or less similar to any actual online roulette games. How much a player’s bet pays off depends on the kind of bet he/she places. For instance, players may bet on an odd or even number, black or red (or green “0″ or “00″ slots), groups of numbers, as well as columns & rows. Following is a brief description of the various types of wagers contestants may place at online roulette tournaments, along with each bet’s payoff:

Single – betting on 1 number only. Pays 35 to 1.

Split – betting on any 2 numbers by placing a wager on the line between them. Pays 17 to 1.

Trio – betting on 3 numbers at their intersecting point (only possible with 0, 1, 2 or 0, 2, 3). Pays 11 to 1.

Corner – betting on 4 numbers by placing a wager at their intersecting point. Pays 8 to 1.

4 Numbers -betting on the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3 by placing a wager at the intersection of 0 & 3. Pays 9 to 1.

Street – betting on a row of 3 numbers by placing a wager at the end of a row. Pays 11 to 1.

Line – betting on 2 “streets” of numbers by placing a wager at the end of both rows, and on the line between them. Pays 5 to 1.

Dozen – wagering on the “First 12,” “Second 12,” or “Third 12″ boxes, as designated, covering twelve numbers each. Pays 2 to 1.

Column – betting on a column of numbers by placing a wager in any of the 3 “2 to 1″ boxes at the ends of the roulette table. Like betting on dozens, columns cover twelve numbers. Pays 2 to 1.

High or low – betting on either the box marked “1 to 18″ (low) or “19 to 36″ (high). Pays 1 to 1.

Red or black – wagering solely on which color will win. “0″ and “00″ do not count for either. Pays 1 to 1.

Odd or even – betting only on whether the number will be even or odd. “0″ and “00″ do not count for either. Pays 1 to 1.

A roulette table can commonly accommodate only one player, since there are no casinos up to this date that offer multi-player roulette tournaments. The top scorers among all the participants after the time frame can either be declared as winners or advance to the next round in the tournament.

The winners are given prizes at the end of the online roulette tournament, in which the amounts of these prizes can depend upon the number of participants or the prize pool. The online casinos (or the network of casino websites) have total control on the terms and policies on how to set the rules and distribute the prizes.

One big and notable difference of the online roulette tournaments from other casino tournaments is that any participant can easily walk away or quit from the tournament if he does not wish to continue anymore, without knocking out his other opponents. It does not matter if he still has some chips left to continue playing or none at all. But he can still be included in the top scorers if ever he had played good enough before he quits.

Roulette is known as a game which favors the house and yet players find it as one of the most attractive online casino games. Should you win playing roulette you can certainly make a nice profit but it is a good idea to enter the game with some understanding of roulette odds. Once you get the basics of roulette odds you will also understand where to play and what type of wheel to choose. What bet you make also influences your odds of winning but don’t count on the smart bets making you a guaranteed winner at roulette. Either way whether you play at online casino sites or at a live casino you will probably have a fun time playing roulette!

It isn’t hard to figure out the basic roulette odds. The roulette wheel has 37 or 38 different slots with numbers. You can win 35 times your bet which immediately lets you know that the house has an obvious advantage. Based on these standard roulette odds the house has an advantage of 2.7% when you are playing the single zero game and 5.26% when you play with the double zero slot. It is in fact the zero slot that represents the house edge so you can easily spot the wheel you should play on without knowing the definition of them.

If you are playing online roulette you will have to know the layout of the wheels according to their names since you won’t always see a clear shot of the wheel before you click into the game. It is the European roulette that comes with a single zero and the American version that has the double. This is why many roulette strategies will tell you to always go for European roulette with the better odds. There are other versions and with special rules you could also be well off playing a French version. To understand how special roulette rules can influence the odds you should play a lot and learn more about these specific roulette strategies.

When you make roulette bets you have many different types to choose from. The easiest roulette bet to make is the single number bet. Should you win on a single number bet the payout will be the highest, meaning 35 to 1. The odds for this in European roulette are 36 to 1 and 37 to 1 in the American version. If you make a split bet on two numbers the European odds are 17.5 and the American 18 to 1. If you make an even, odd, high, low, red or black bet the European odds are 1.01 to 1 and the American 1.05 to 1. The payouts stay the same for the two versions but the odds are always stronger in the European roulette.

The even, odd, high, low, red and black number bets all have a payout of 1 to 1. This makes them solid bets where the payout is similar to the odds of the bets. For sure, you won’t win as much on these bets but many agree that these are the best bets to make on roulette. Don’t forget that ultimately this game is about the excitement and sometimes that simply means a big bet on a single number.

One of the reasons why casino enthusiasts like roulette so much over other casino games, is that it is such an old game and has so much history bound to it. To start of, roulette is associated whit a gentle and classy game. Usually the clientele is more stylish and quiet, attracting a more civilized crowd. In Europe people associate roulette with elegant clothing and good taste, like tuxedos or beautiful dressed women. Basically the atmosphere is that of refinement, nobility and chic.

Roulette or in a french term a “small wheel”. Made in 1655 in France by Blaise Pascal in order to jump through hoops to invent a never-ending motion device but the outcome was a game of roulette and evolved into the 18th century and called “roulette wheel” at Palasis Royal in Paris in 1796.

In 1842, where Francois and Luis Blanc were under obligation for establishing the first ever casino and signed a 50-year franchise contract and built the luxurious “Place du Casino” in Monte Carlo. but before, roulette is only featured with the number 1-36. Francois and Luis Blanc added zero to the wheel to increase their house edge in their casino.

Roulette sailed across the Atlantic to America in the early 1900s, first appearing in the French city of New Orleans. This version of the game used both the single and double zeros. The game quickly became just as popular in New Orleans as it had been in Europe. Roulette began to be placed on a table to prevent cheating. US players has their own betting styles, easy and extravagant. New Orleans operators added rather than subtracted a zero.

This 3rd zero position featured a picture of an American eagle and tripled the house percentage over the single-zero game. The operators also increased the wheel speed to three times the pace of the leisurely 36 spins per hour of the game played in the European casinos and became popular during the Gold Rush regime among gold miners and gold speculators.

However, there was little competition for the casinos and the operators didn’t face the same competitive situation as their European counterparts. There was no need to reduce the house percentage. The 00 remains a part of the American game even to this day.

Nowadays, online casinos have opened a doorway, allowing all online casino games available at real casinos to be played online. Online Roulette game is now played through online casinos and it gets better with the option to play “play for fun/free” or “play for real” with unique betting features let you control your own online roulette game. You can be sure that your time spent playing online roulette with us will be secure, fair and fun. In addition, playing online roulette offers better payout and percentages when compared to traditional roulette.

Online roulette offers a level of convenience and security which most elite casinos cannot; you never have to worry about not being able to play your favorite game, and an online casino is accessible to anyone, from anywhere in the world.

Online roulette is one of those few indestructible games which allured casino players from all ages, all over the world. Its simplicity and unpredictable made roulette a sought-after casino game and it has been an unfading fixture in both tradition and casinos online

As the revolution of the technology, roulette can now be played online. Now, player don’t need to set off on a casino and spend a lot of money on transportation, food, drinks and even accommodation just to play roulette. In an online casino, you can enjoy roulette in their home and bet like their in the real casino sphere!

KNOWING THE GAME

The main factors to consider in playing online roulette is to know the game completely! You must be in the loop of each and every feature of the game. You need to have a hint of the game and a strategy in your mind on how to bet, how much to bet and how to take advantage of your winnings and retrieve your money after a loss.

MAXIMIZING YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING

To win in an online roulette, you need to maximize your chances of winning, which means not betting against yourself.

The most valuable aspect in knowing how to win in an online roulette is to not bet more than what is needed.

This is a very humdrum mistake in online roulette. Players increased bets and so the winnings seem huge, but they are actually quite small in resemblance to the expense being met with.

CHOOSING A WINNING NUMBER

To win online roulette you should sort out a few numbers on the high side of the roulette table which corresponds to: 19 to 36 and a few on the low side; 1 to 18. This covers different numbers on both the low and high sides. This increases your odds of winning without incurring a very high expense.

CHOOSING THE BEST ROULETTE GAME

Remember, You should play in European Roulette rather than American Roulette. Because European Roulette has a Single Zero (0) in which the number of wheel has 37 and the house edge on all bets is lowered significantly to 2.7% from its original 5.25%.

WAGERING WISELY

It is very of concern to look after your roulette wins. You have to manage and stick to it! Don’t overspend, if you have several small wins and a few larger losses, you might not realize how much you are actually losing because it seems like you are winning more frequently.

Make sure that you don’t continue to double up, in occurrence, this will consequently cause you to lose more than winning. Try to establish yourself with a safe strategy and this will provide you with the best results over the long-term.

BEST BETS

Wager only on inside bets that are based on the wheel. However, the outside bets are leg-pulled and will lead you to lose money fast. Inside bets will allow you to win more money with less spins.

Online roulette is both that simple and that hard, which is what makes it so exhilarating. An entertaining pastime that has been enjoyed all around the world for many years. The innovation of online roulette has made this pleasure much more accessible and today may be accessed at the simple touch of a mouse from a convenient online casinos of choice.
